Welcome to RTC 2011 September 23-25 2011 Tallahassee, Florida
This is the home of the 20th annual Regional Training Conference (RTC) hosted at Florida State University by the FSU World Affairs Program. RTC serves as a means for exposing new and current students to the stimulating world of International Crisis Debate and Model United Nations. It provides them the opportunity to learn a highly academic style of debate, improve their communication skills, and engage in an academically stimulating experience in which international and historical issues will be discussed. RTC is designed to be a training and learning experience. We provide committees for students at all MUN experience levels, including those with no experience what so ever. Sign-ups for FSU students are free and easy and will be posted under the pages of each particular committee at the beginning of August. Other schools wishing to participate in RTC should contact Amanda Fidalgo at rtc@fsuwap.org so that we can arrange for your delegations to have all necessary amenities and lodging. Awards will be given to the upper 10-25% of delegates in all three committees. Former traveling members of FSUWAP are not eligible to win awards but are strongly encouraged to participate. RTC is an approved Global Pathways event.Participation in RTC will satisfy a short event requirement of the Global Pathways Certificate. |
